OTES Step electrical system

Our OTES Top offers a reliable and long-lasting solution for bird control on parapets, roof edges, ledges, and other potentially affected surfaces. Upon contact with the rods, birds receive a harmless but unpleasant electric pulse with minimal current, similar to that provided by electric fences.

The system complies with animal welfare regulations. Limiting the voltage and power ensures that even smaller birds suffer no harm. Small birds, such as sparrows or tits, can only perch on one conductor at a time due to their small claws and the steps, and therefore cannot complete the circuit.

• The OTES Step is characterized by three features:
  High reliability, durability and virtually maintenance-free.

• The insulators are made of 5 mm thick UV-stable polycarbonate 

• The ladders are made of 3 mm thick round bars of V4A stainless steel

• The rods are connected to each other using screw sleeves

• Crimp sleeves enable clean, technically very reliable branch connections

• The electrical connection is made using screw connections

• The system is suitable against pigeons, crows and seagulls
