Effect of Bird Free

Bird Free effectively deters pigeons by influencing their behavior without creating physical barriers. It shows immediate and lasting results, causing pigeons to leave their usual roosting spots.

Vision: Bird Free contains the fluorescent dye pyranine, which is also used in highlighters. Pyranine glows under UV radiation. Invisible to the human eye, pigeons can see this UV light in Bird Free as a bright, flickering fire. Hence the name Fire Gel™. This prevents pigeons from landing on surfaces treated with Bird Free . This deterrent reaction is observed immediately after application of Bird Free .

Bird Free was developed to specifically target the three senses of birds - sight, smell and touch - and thus promote avoidance learning in birds.

Sense of smell: Bird Free contains peppermint oil, which has been proven in studies to be an effective bird deterrent. The combination of these two visual and olfactory stimuli works synergistically and effectively warns pigeons to avoid approaching. As a result, they quickly learn to stay away from areas treated with Bird Free.

Assembly:

The Bird Free bowls (65 mm Ø, 8 mm high) are attached using glue, magnets or cable ties.

The new formula gives Bird Free exceptional durability, which is not affected by extreme temperatures, wind, rain or snow.

Advantages of Bird Free

01. Aesthetics

Bird Free protects the appearance of buildings. The dishes are only 8 mm high with a 65 mm diameter. They can be recessed and mounted on ledges or parapets.

02. Costs

Installation requires only a dab of adhesive. One cartridge of silicone sealant is sufficient for installing 150 bowls. There are no maintenance or ongoing costs.

03. Assembly

Bird Free allows for flexible mounting on curves and niches. It can even be mounted overhead or vertically on walls.
